Signups from 7 – 9 pm. during practice weeks and 5 – 9 pm. during Leagues. Holland Rod and Gun operates three regulation trap fields, equipped with voice-activated releases to eliminate bad pulls.
Shooting is open to the public during practice sessions as well as during the leagues.
At present, we run a Spring and a Fall league, both 300 bird events over 10 weeks. The Spring league features an all-day pig, beef and turkey roast for all shooters and their families, at the end of the 10 weeks. There is a catered steak roast banquet following the Fall league also. Trophies in many categories are presented at the banquets.
Holland Rod and Gun is affiliated with the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA) allowing members to register all league scores.
HRGC also sponsors teams in two traveling leagues, the Pioneer Twilight League , which has 8 clubs and the Multi-Club Traveling League which has 6 clubs. Members shoot targets at each of the clubs and compete with shooters from all other clubs for league standing. Please contact John Wolfe if you would like to be on one of the HRGC teams.
